Stoughton's Dennis Doubles in Bridgewater Win
Bridgewater State beats RI College on Thursday, but then loses to Western New England Friday in NCAA Division 3 Regional Tournament.
Stoughton's doubled as the Bridgewater State baseball team defeated Rhode Island College, 8-5, Thursday in the NCAA Division 3 New England Regional at Whitehouse Field in Harwich.
Unfortunately for the Bears, they fell to Western New England, 11-4, Friday afternoon and now are one game away from being eliminated. They will be playing next on Saturday at noon.
Dennis is a a sophomore at Bridgewater. The Stoughton High product batted .347 during the regular season.
