The winner of this semifinal game will play the winner of a Brockton-Sharon semifinal game being played at the same time. The championship final is scheduled to be played Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Braintree High.

It is a very rare occurrence to have a team go undefeated and it goes to show through hard-work, dedication, and a great team attitude that much can be accomplished.

Players on the Stoughton squad include: Marco Antunes; Cam Carpenter; Nate Espinal; Jeremy Fishman; Matt Gallagher; Max Goodman; Conor Kavanagh; Joshua Mitchell; Colin O'Neil; Will Peoples; Adam Potter; Izaiah Roberts; Malyke Ross; Noah Schulze; Kyle Silverman; Trevor Simmons; Hunter Sprague; and Derek Westhaver.

This long journey started way back in the March preseason where the unseasonably dry weather helped contribute to getting a jump start on the season. Players would come out to practice wearing hats and gloves and work hard on passing, receiving, dribbling, trapping, defending, and attacking.

The team worked hard on physical endurance, stretching, and overall conditioning. Huge individual improvements were earned by everyone on the team.

The preseason matches helped hone those tactical skills required for the upcoming season. Once the team hit full stride, Stoughton started a winning streak that was unexpected. They kept winning game after game, raising the confidence level of the team. But the u14b players and coaches never underestimated any team and took each match as the one game they had to win.

This weekend presents their toughest games yet. The team hopes the Town of Stoughton will be there cheering them on. Braintree High School is located at 128 Town Street in Braintree. Stoughton's game is on Field 1 (see map in photo gallery).
