STOUGHTON PATCH SCOREBOARD-Kelly Finishes Seventh at Hocks

Amy Kelly again lead the varsity girls cross country team to an eighth place finish. Kelly finished seventh overall in a time of 20.11-followed by Shannon Barkey, Julia Bobeck, Jennifer Billo, Rebekah Medina and Sara Vera Cruz. The varsity team had two bad injuries during the season, Katrina Daly and Rebekah Medina. Both tried to get back for the championship meet. Medina, although sub par, tried her best to help the team by running. Daly was held out so that she could have another week to recover. The JV team was lead by Elizabeth Noe our only freshman in a time of 29.27-followed by Fatima Julien-Monica Pabla and Darya Musatova.
In the last 5K of the season for most of the freshmen all six  boys ran personal bests.. Cameron Bean (19:13)  and Colin Cochran's (19:30)  PR's were most notable as they ran in the varsity race. Jonathon Lessa (22:14) , Steven Bontemps (22:20) , Brian Tucker (23:36) and Ryan Dolinsky (24:02)  all ran in the freshman race. Top varsity runners were Antonio Irons (17:49) , Alec DeNapoli (18:06) and David Lockhart (18:13)
Also competing in the varsity race were:Nick Quattrucci (19:07), Luke Butera (19:31) and Jason Marshall.(20:40) The boys finished ninth out of 12 teams.
Competing in the JV race were: Sean Ellertson (21:06), Jonathan Oliveira (22:14) and Raj Patel (22:16).
Mansfield won the boys' meet, while Oliver Ames took the girls' title.
