STOUGHTON PATCH SCOREBOARD: Cross-Country Runners Earn Medals

Stoughton High boys' cross-country team's David Lockhart (17:03-5k) and Cameron Bean (10:55 - 3K) both earned medals at the Mass State Track Coaches Invitational Meet in Wrentham on Saturday.

Nick Quattrucci (18:46) and Nicholas Khuu (26:05) ran in the sophomore 5K race

Colin Cochran (11:04 - 3K)  finished just five seconds away from a medal in the freshman race. Also running in the freshman race were Jonathon Lessa (12:23) and Brian Tucker (13:06).

In the boys 11th-12th grade race competing were Lockhart, Luke Butera (19:31), Jason Marshall (19:59), and Jonathan Oliveira (21:52).

This meet was the final tune up for the boys before next week's Div 3 championship meet to be held on the same course. Only the top seven boys on the team will compete in that race

GIRLS' CROSS-COUNTY
Amy Kelly (25th) and Julia Bobeck (50th) both medaled in their 5K races. Jennifer Billo, Sara Vera Cruz,and Fatima Julien ran in the sophomore race. Elizabeth Noe (the only freshman) ran in the 3K race. Katrina Daly (returning from injury) ran 23.10 in the final 5k race of the day.

FOOTBALL
The Stoughton High football team will hosting Hopkinton, Friday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. in the Division 3 Southwest playoff semifinals.
In the other semifinal match, North Attleboro will be at Oliver Ames at 7 p.m.
