Stoughton Patch Scoreboad: Football Team Heads to Milford; Field Hockey Team Wins

FOOTBALL (2-0)
The Stoughton High football team will be starting the Hockomock League Davenport Division part of their schedule, traveling to Milford for a 7 p.m. game. Milford has a new coach this year in former Mansfield High standout Joe Todd, who played at Hofstra University and was with the New York Jets and Tampa Bay in the NFL. He also coached on the college level before joining the Mansfield staff last year. The Scarlet Hawks are off to an 0-2 start, losing to Marlborough, 33-17, and Holliston, 43-7.

The Stoughton varsity field hockey team defeated Milford, 1-0, on a goal by Courtney Campbell, assisted by Gina McGaughey. Katie Cellucci had the shutout in goal. The JV field hockey team lost to Milford, 2-0.
