Stoughton High Scoreboard: Volleyball Team One Win From Tourney

Stoughton High varsity volleyball team defeated Cardinal Spellman High School, 3-1. Starring for Stoughton were Kayla Motley with 12 kills, seven blocks, and 14 digs; Meaghna Hill with nine kills, nine service points with six aces, and 19 digs; and Payton Pizzano with 12 service points and 17 assists.  Stoughton's next match will be Wednesday when Fontbonne Academy comes to the SHS gym for senior night. JV match begins at 5 p.m. with the varsity scheduled for 6 p.m. If Stoughton wins, they will be in the MIAA tournament.

The Stoughton High football team will be playing Hingham in the first round of the Division 3 Southwest Playoffs, Friday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. at home. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Children under 5 are free. The Black Knights are the No. 2 seed behind rival Oliver Ames, 7-0.
