Stoughton High Girls’ Soccer Players, Coach Putting in Overtime this Offseason

Stoughton High girls' varsity soccer coach Gary Muello coached three SHS players Rachel Berkowsky, Niamh Fennessy and Megan Crimmins on a club soccer team this spring.

girls' soccer players Rachel Berkowsky, Niamh Fennessy and Megan Crimmins continued with their soccer passions during their club soccer season for JSSA/Magic GU17 with the John Smith Soccer Academy. Their coach was a familiar face - SHS girls’ varsity soccer coach Gary Muello.

The girls worked relentlessly during the winter months and spring season participating in three outdoor tournaments, eight regular season games and practices.  All three student athletes also participated this spring for the .

Megan Crimmins and Niamh Fennessy are two of the tri-captains elected by their teammates for the fall 2012 Stoughton High School . Both girls will be seniors and bring experience and leadership to their team and are excited to help lead their team to an exciting season.  

Mackenzie McGrath is the third of the tri-captains and will also bring her experience and leadership to help lead the Lady Knights.

Rachel Berkowsky, returning as a junior next season on the Stoughton High School soccer squad will play an important role for the team as both a keeper and a field player and can’t wait to get the fall season underway.

JSSA/Magic is based out of Milford, MA and is run by John Smith and Felicity Day Smith (Director of Coaching). The club is for kids ages 6-18 and has teams based out of Millis, Hopkinton, and the Needham/Wellesley area.
