Stoughton High Boys' Track Wins Division Title; SHS Girls' Fall to Canton

With Tuesday's win over Canton, the Stoughton High boys' outdoor track team clinched sole possession of the Hockomock League's Davenport Division. On the girls' side, Stoughton came up short against the Bulldogs.

The Stoughton boys' track team clinched the Hockomock League Davenport Division title and completed an undefeated dual meet season (5-0) with its win over Canton, 108-28, on Tuesday.

"After finishing last year's spring season in a tie with Oliver Ames for the Davenport and tying with both OA and Sharon in the winter track season, this season's finish was especially sweet," Stoughton coach Harvey Blonder said.

"A lot of the team has been together for four years and are impact athletes in other sports as well.  I am looking forward to taking on the Kelley-Rex division in the Hockomock Championship meet on May 19."
