After the game, Jackman was quick to turn his attention to the upcoming state tournament.

Connelly was very optimistic when analyzing his teams chances come next week.

"We have been playing real good baseball the second half of the season. After 8 games no one thought we would have a chance to make a run at it, but we always believed in ourselves. We are going to be prepared and are going to give a big fight no matter who we are playing."
