Stoughton Freshmen Wrestlers Shine in Brookline

sent seven wrestlers to the 2012 Brookline Warrior Freshman Duals on Sunday, with Bryan Nguyen the top performer, finishing third in his weight class.

Nguyen lost his first match, but rebounded to win the next three.

Brandon Cohen (4th), Stephen Stenstrom (4th), Mike Carroll (5th) and Brad Allen (4th) all placed in their respective weight class.

Jake Swartz and Tom Mone also competed for Stoughton High.

Stoughton’s Patrick Ferzoco, a freshman wrestler at Catholic Memorial, placed 1st in his weight class, going 3-0 on the day.
