Singles Players Lead Stoughton High Girls' Tennis Past Randolph
The girls' tennis team is 2-2 after losing to Franklin and beating Randolph this past week.
After what Stoughton High girls’ tennis coach Bill Donovan called a “somewhat disappointing and frustrating” 4-1 loss at Franklin this past Tuesday, the Black Knights bounced back to defeat Randolph 3-2 on Thursday.
The win at Randolph evens up Stoughton’s record at 2-2 through the first two weeks of the season.
Against Franklin on Tuesday, Donovan said the team “could have easily won 3-2,” but came up just short in two matches that would have secured a team win for the Black Knights.
