Sharon Bests Stoughton High Wrestling

The Black Knights fall to the Eagles 48-27 Monday night in Sharon.

The Sharon High wrestling team allowed only two pins, while racking up seven, to beat visiting , 48-27 Monday night in Sharon.

"A lot of guys that were losing came back to win. That was good to see," said Sharon head coach Anthony Lucie, who earned his 100th win.

Stoughton assistant coach Pat Walsh said the Black Knights performed better than the scoreboard showed.

"We had a lot of really close matches that could've went either way," Walsh said. "We just have to work on not going to our back, fighting off our back and not getting pinned."

The Eagles' next match is at 4 p.m. Friday at Marshfield, against Marshfield, Oliver Ames, St. John's Prep of Danvers and Pembroke.
