After neither team scored in regulation, Aaron Mack scored both touchdowns for Stoughton in the overtime periods.

Leading 13-7, John Olsen and Adam Leonard came up with key plays for the Black Knights on what turned out to be West Springfield’s final drive of the game, preventing West Springfield from scoring the tying touchdown.

Stoughton’s grass field was wet and muddy thanks to periods of heavy rain. There was also a 40-minute delay in the middle of the third quarter because there was lightning in the area.
