Gallagher had four hits of his own. Junior Pat Raeke got on base six times with 3 hits and 3 walks.

Zach Gibb collected 2 hits of his own collecting 6 RBI. His younger brother, freshman Jake Gibb, got in on the act with a single.

Kaleb Ballou hit a single to center field, and senior Brett Hoffman ripped a single in his first at bat of the season.

Jackman was impressed with how his team played on the afternoon.

"It was a great win. We came out early and never stopped. It was great to keep the bats rolling."

Connelly seconded Jackman's sentiments and spoke personally about his big day at the dish.

"Today was a good team win, everyone contributed equally and everyone did good."

Connelly continued, "All the pitchers pitched well, and everyone hit well. I saw the ball well today and came up with some runners on, and I was able to get them in. Overall a great team win."

Head Coach Mike Armour added much of the same, on a day where everything was clicking for the Knights.

"The bats are starting to come together. The pitching and defense has been there all season, and if our bats can keep going we will be a tough team to beat going forward."

Armour then talked about players such as Brett Hoffman coming in when called upon and getting the job done.

"I always say good things happen to good people, and they don't get better than Brett Hoffman. He's a great kid, he does all the little things, and to see him have an opportunity and to be able to capitalize I think everyone was pretty jacked for him."

The Knights next take the field Monday when they travel to Canton. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
