The came in less than favorable weather conditions, but the Black Knights protected the ball on offense and were able to force a number of Mansfield turnovers on defense.
Stoughton did most of their scorning on special teams, with two field goals from Alex Fernandes. The defense chipped in with a fourth-quarter safety.

It was Stoughton’s first since 2000 and Mansfield’s first loss since the 2010 regular season opener.
Stoughton, now 2-1 on the season, hosts Sharon on Saturday in the first Davenport Division contest for either team.
