Highlights From The Stoughton High Football Team's Loss to Attleboro [VIDEO]

Check out the highlight montage (in the media gallery) from the football team’s last Friday on the road.

After falling behind 6-0 after Attleboro scored on their opening drive of the game, Stoughton responded to take a 7-6 lead on a 26-yard touchdown run from Frankie Morris, early in the second quarter.

But Attleboro answered with a touchdown on their next drive to take a 12-7 lead into the half. Attleboro receiver Cleveland White caught a fourth down pass in the end zone after it had bounced off the hands of Stoughton defensive back Aaron Calixte.

Looking to retake the lead toward the end of the third quarter, Stoughton faced a 4th and 1 from the Attleboro 2-yard line, after a lengthy drive. But, the Blue Bombardier defense came up with the stop and then the Attleboro offense marched 99-yards on the ensuing drive to account for the final score, 18-7.

Stoughton, now 4-3, looks to rebound against Franklin (3-4) this Friday, Oct. 28 at home. It’s Homecoming night for Stoughton and the Black Knights will be looking for their first win over the Panthers since 2006.
