"We lost to a very solid and fundamentally sound team. North Attleboro won the line of scrimmage and therefore, won the game. I give NA a lot of credit for their coaching and personnel depth. They do not have many weaknesses as all of their players play at a high level," Stoughton head coach Greg Spohn wrote in an email.

"It was an exciting game, back and forth, and we fought and played hard until the final whistle," Spohn continued. "We were able to move the ball against a very good defense, especially with our passing game, but they were the better team [Sunday]."

Stoughton finished the 2012 regular season 7-2, beating Foxborough and Westwood to advance to the Super Bowl.

"I am very proud of the Stoughton B Raiders' players for the time and effort they put into this season. These players will continue to grow together as they move into high school, and I look forward to seeing their accomplishments at the next level," Spohn wrote.

"I also want to recognize the B Cheerleading squad and coaches for supporting this team from August 1 until today. They work extremely hard and the players very much appreciate them. Lastly, the parents have just been phenomenal. They have been on board from Day 1 and volunteered their time in every way to assist and push forward the STOYAC Pop Warner program."

Spohn concluded, "As Mr. [Mark] Snyder said from the announcing booth, "Stoughton Pop Warner Football is alive and well."
