Stoughton Youth Baseball kicked off its season with its annual Opening Day Parade on Saturday, April 14—a perfect early spring day.

The parade featured teams from T-ball to the Major Leagues making their way towards , the home of Stoughton Youth Baseball.

The Major League Cubs and Red Sox were the last teams marching in the parade. The Cubs are the and the Red Sox are the . The Red Sox proudly carried their large championship trophy on the parade route.

After the parade, the teams gathered on Goff Field for Opening Day ceremonies. Scholarships were presented to Stoughton Youth Baseball alumni. Members of last summer’s eight-year-old Stoughton National All-Stars, the , threw the ceremonial first pitch.

The Opening Day festivities were then followed by a full slate of games at the complex.
