The Stoughton High Hockey team dropped the consolation game of the Dedham Petruzziello Plaza Holiday Tournament to Brockton High, 3-1.

Originally scheduled for Dec. 29, the Saturday snowstorm pushed the game back to New Year's Eve and changed the location from Nobles Arena in Dedham to Stoughton's home ice at the Asiaf Arena in Brockton.

Stoughton is now 0-6-1 on the season.

Brockton got on the board first when Ryan Macintosh scored 4:34 into the second period.

But Stoughton answered to tie the game just four minutes later when Drew DiStefano scored 8:44 into the second period on a power play. Mark Sheehan assisted the goal.

Macintosh, however, found the back of the net two more times in the final 4:25 of the third period, scoring a hat trick, and giving Brockton the win.

Stoughton goalie P.J. Sheehan turned in another spectacular effort in net, with 51 saves. Sheehan made 63 saves vs. Dedham on Dec. 27 in a 3-0 loss in the opening round of the holiday tournament.

In the two-game tournament, Sheehan made 114 saves. He has 301 saves in 7 games so far this season and a 91.5% save percentage.

Stoughton is next in action Jan. 5 vs. Attleboro at the Asiaf Arena.
