Fall Sports Previews: Stoughton High Looks to Score Big in New Look Hockomock League

Looking ahead to the Fall 2012 Stoughton High sports season.

With the start of the 2012-2013 school year comes the start of fall sports season. Led by a talented group of seniors, the Class of 2013 looks to lead the Stoughton High Black Knights on the field this fall, winter and spring.

After adding Attleboro in the 2010-2011 school year and splitting into small (Davenport) and large (Kelly-Rex) divisions, the Hockomock League welcomes two new schools in 2012-2013 - Milford and Taunton.

Milford will join Stoughton, Oliver Ames, Sharon, Canton and Foxboro in the Davenport Division, with the exception of football. Milford won't join the Hockomock in football until next school year. Meanwhile, Taunton joins Mansfield, King Philip, North Attleboro, Franklin and Attleboro in the Kelly-Rex Division.

Emery will be assisted by new JV coach Bill Piasecki. Hanson and Piasecki are both Atttleboro High alumni, like Stoughton High Athletic Director Ryan Donahue.

Donhaue, who is starting his fourth year as AD, also has the added honor of serving as the president of the Hockomock League this year.
