"Blue Bandits" Take STOYAC Softball Senior League Championship

The following was submitted to Stoughton Patch:

Well-deserved congratulations are in order for the Senior Girls' champions, the Blue Bandits, sponsored by S.J. Overstreet Construction. 

The Manager, Joe Bodette, and Coach, Tom Flaherty, had the good fortune and great opportunity to coach a great bunch of girls that came together as a team from the very beginning. 

The team's investment in hard work at practices, resulted in big dividends as it paid off with a 10-0 undefeated season. 

The kids played hard and with great spirit, right through to the final game against a tough Team 2 opponent (pink team) for the STOYAC Senior Girls Division Softball Championship.  

Thank you to all that helped make this an enjoyable, rewarding, exciting and successfull season. Special thanks to Assistant Coach, Tom Flaherty and scorekeeper Kevin Berkowsky for their invaluable assistance. 

And last but not least, a special thank you to all the parents for the time and sacrifices they made for their kids to help make this super season such a memorable success!
