What's Going on in Stoughton Schools? Juniors to Hold Frozen Yogurt Fundraiser

Stoughton High Class of 2015 to Host Fundraiser at iCraze2 Saturday.

The following are events and news from the Stoughton schools.

The Chateau and POPS are sponsoring a fundraiser for the Stoughton Schools Music Department, Thursday, Jan. 30. The Chateau is donating 20-percent of your total bill back to the music students. This is not on delivery orders.  Just print out the flyer and bring it when you eat in or take out.

The Stoughton High Class of 2015 is holding a fundraiser at iCraze2 frozen yogurt, Saturday, Jan. 25,  from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Fifteen percent of all sales will be donated to the class.

"Stoughton's Got Talent" will be held Friday, Feb. 14, at Stoughton High at 7 p.m. Admission is $5. Auditions for "Stoughton's Got Talent" are scheduled for Monday, Jan. 27, in the O'Donnell Middle School cafeteria, starting at 6 p.m. Go to spsfinearts.org for audition times.

Yes, there will be a powder puff game between Canton and Stoughton. The game between girls from both schools was cancelled the day before Thanksgiving Day because of the weather and will now be played Tuesday, March 11, at Stoughton High School at 3:30 p.m. Ticket sales details will be announced at a later date.

The Stoughton school's proposed FY15 school budget is available for viewing at stoughtonschools.org.

The Stoughton High Guidance Department will be holding a Junior Parent Night Class of 2014, Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The presenters will be Gregg Meyer, director of admission at Bridgewater State University and Ryan Scheuer, assistant director of admissions at Northeastern University. Guidance counselors Katie Abruzzese, Christine Carr, Dan Fitzgerald and Barbara Meyer will present the information given to the juniors during the Junior Red Folder meetings.

The O'Donnell Middle School's Sixth Grade Winter Concert will be Wednesday. Jan. 29, at the Stoughton High School auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

The elementary schools will be holding an early release day, Thursday, Jan. 30, for parent teacher conference at 12:20 p.m.

The Hansen School will have a Parent Engagement Family Fitness at 5:30 p.m. and a PTO meeting at 6:30 p.m.
