Stoughton's Parents of Performing Students group (POPS) is holding two fundraisers this week.

Chateau Fundraiser

Stoughton’s Parents of Performing Students organization (POPS) is having a fundraiser at the Chateau (formerly Nocera’s) on Park St. in Stoughton on Thursday, Jan. 26.

Come enjoy lunch or dinner (from 11:15 a.m. until close) on 1/26 and the will donate 20 percent of your bill to POPS.

Only one ticket per group is needed. It’s good for both dine-in and take out orders (781-341-2503).

A Night of Music and Laughter for Anne McCormick

There will be a benefit for the Scholarship Fund and St. James Youth Group Mission Trip on Saturday, January 28 from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the , 560 Page Street in Stoughton.

The cost is $20 per person. There will be a cash bar of beer and wine and appetizers and desserts will be served.

The evening will feature comedian Paul Nardozzi and Linda Belt with music.

McCormick, an active member of both POPS and the St. James Parish, lost her battle with cancer two years ago.

6th Grade Winter Concert

The 6th Grade Winter Concert will be held at on Wednesday, January 25.

The concert will feature the 6th Grade choruses, directed by Betty Bauman; The 6th Grade Concert Bands directed by Stephen Dorgan, Jaclyn Sly, and Andrew Davey, and the OMS 6th Grade Jazz Band directed by Stephen Dorgan. The concert will be held in the high school auditorium and will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for all three concerts will be available at the door only. Ticket prices are $2 for adults, $1 for seniors and children, with a family maximum of $5.
