Two '08 Stoughton High Alumni Graduate with Phi Beta Kappa Honors from Boston University

Jenna Kelly and Matthew Petersile both graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University this past weekend.

The following was submitted to Stoughton Patch:

Two 2008 graduates were honored with induction into Phi Beta Kappa during Boston University's commencement weekend.  

Jenna Ashley Kelly, Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, and Matthew Joseph Petersile, Bachelor of Arts in Biology, Summa Cum Laude, were part of the BU class of 2012, which celebrated its commencement on May 20.

Kelly is set to begin a teaching career at Stoughton High School and Petersile will be entering the Boston University School of Medicine.  

Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors organization in the United States, founded in 1776.  Its high and rigorous standards have made election to it one of the highest academic honors an undergraduate at a college in the U.S. can receive.
