This marks the fifth snow day of the school year for Stoughton Schools. The school schedule usually only budgets up to five snow days per school year, but according to Dr. Rizzi, the schools can actually have up to four additional snow days this school year beyond Wednesday, without having to alter any of the remaining vacations this academic year (February and April).

When school is canceled, so are after school activities and athletic events. The Stoughton High hockey team and wrestling team were both scheduled to face Canton. No make-up date has been announced for either contest.
