Stoughton Patch Scoreboard: Boys' X-C Team Runs Past Canton

On Canton's three-mile course, David Lockhart (17:33), Antonio Irons (17:38)  and Alec DeNapoli ( 17:51) went 1-2-3 in this meet assuring the Stoughton High boys' cross-country team's 23-33 victory at Canton Tuesday. The win improved Stoughton's record in the Hockomock League to 3-2. Jason Marshall (18:49) and Nick Quattrucci (18:54) finished fourth and fifth for the team. Freshmen Colin Cochran (18:55)  and Cameron  Bean (19:18) were the others in the top seven for Stoughton.

Tuesday, the Stoughton volleyball team fell to Mansfield High School, 3-1 3 in a tough fought contest. Starring for Stoughton in a losing effort were; Meaghan Hill with eight kills and 20 digs; and Payton Pizzano with 14 assists, 12 digs, nine service points and three aces.
