The Stoughton High School Drama Department put on their fall show "And a Child Shall Lead" by Michael Slade, November 16-18 in the Stoughton
High School auditorium in front of large crowds at all three performances.
The play's plot was about children living in Terezin concentration camp located in the Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic) during the Holocaust. The children, who instead of trying to escape, write a newspaper and become involved with various forms of art as a way to maintain innocence and stay alive.
The play was directed by Megan DeSimone and Kasey Sheehan.
Students in the play included Caroline Cusack, Katherine Scabia, Jake Roher, Jackie Housman, Olivia Quattrucci, Dan Fountain, Sam Langmead, Sierra Watson, Alexa Luppino, Madison Rosbach, Jacob Casey, Caitlyn Cote, Yasmin Lopez, Daniella Vieira, Kristin Mauriello, Sam Delosh and Courtney Lowell.
Cusack talked about how her cast performed over the weekend of performances:
"Everyone did such an amazing job through out the weekend. It was amazing watching all of our hard work pay off," she said. "I couldn't be more proud
of everyone. I also want to thank everyone who came out and supported us, we all really appreciate it, and it wouldn't be possible without all of you."
