Stoughton Academy Presents Diplomas to Nine Students

The ceremony took place at Tuesday night's School Committee Meeting, held in the TV Studio at Stoughton High

At Tuesday’s School Committee Meeting, six mid-year graduates from Stoughton Academy were recognized in a mimi-diploma presentation.

Superintendent of Public Schools Dr. Marguerite Rizzi and Stoughton Academy Director Thomas McCormack presented the diplomas to: Conor Batchelder, Charlotte DiClemente, Roline Dieudonne, Joseph Gouthro, Elise Lemieux and Kevin Rose.

Molly Jennings, Kerri Ann Kolczewski and Kimberly Roderick also graduated but were not present at the ceremony.

According to the Stoughton Public Schools website,Stoughton Academy seeks to offer the academic resources of the Stoughton School System to all residents of Stoughton and surrounding communities who desire to complete a course of study and receive a High School diploma.” The program is designed for “anyone who is not enrolled in high school at the present time but wishes to complete his/her High School education.”

Stoughton Academy’s full graduation, complete with caps and gowns, will be held in the Stoughton High Auditorium on June 7, 2011 at 6 p.m.
