School Improvement Plan: Gibbons Elementary School

The Gibbons School Improvement Plan presented to the Stoughton School Committee

Each elementary school, the middle school and the high school presented a “School Improvement Plan” to the Stoughton School Committee over the past three school committee meetings.

The improvement plans offered an assessment of the current programs and student achievement at the school, as well as plans for further growth, development, and in some cases, improvement.

Each school had their own School Council members, which featured administrators, teachers, parents, community members, and in some cases students, contribute to these improvement plans.

Principal Lynne Jardin presented the Gibbons School plan, which focused on the following areas:

  • Extra-Curricular Activities
  • Diverse Learning Needs
  • Climate and Culture
  • Student Achievement
