School Improvement Plan: Dawe Elementary School

The Dawe School Improvement Plan presented to the School Committee.

Each elementary school, the middle school and the high school presented a “School Improvement Plan” to the Stoughton School Committee at recent school committee meetings.

The improvement plans offered an assessment of the current programs and student achievement at the school, as well as plans for further growth, development, and in some cases, improvement.

Each school had their own School Council members, which featured administrators, teachers, parents, community members, and in some cases, students, contribute to these improvement plans.

The Dawe is the fifth and final elementary school in the district to be featured. The , , and were previously featured.

Principal David Barner presented the Dawe School plan, with some help from graduating fifth grade students, Shannon Murphy, Amanda Saltmarsh and Andrew Schlehuber. The plan focused on the following areas:
