Power Outages Give Stoughton High Students Extension on Summer Assignments

Stoughton High Principal Matt Colantonio announced he would grant students an extension for required summer work, with the new due date set for Sept. 12.

For Stoughton High School students still needing to complete their summer reading assignments or summer work in other subjects, but have been hampered by the impacting thousands in town, you have an extension.

Principal Matt Colantonio announced that the new due date for summer work would be Monday, Sept. 12.

Colantonio posted the following release on the high school’s website:

Due to the length of the power outage in some parts of Stoughton, it seems only fair to change the due dates for ALL summer work.  

The new due date for required summer work is Monday, September 12.

This includes all AP work and required readings in all grades and disciplines.

The in Stoughton is Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Many schools around the state were scheduled to go back this week, before Labor Day, but had to the start of the school year after swept through their towns on Sunday.
