Photos: Carolers from Stoughton High Jazz Choir Bring Holiday Cheer to Library, Fire Station

Members of the Stoughton High Jazz Choir recently performed holiday songs at the Stoughton Public Library and Freeman St. Fire Station.

Normally a library is a quiet place. But after school on the afternoon of Wednesday, Dec. 19, the Stoughton Public Library welcomed a group of carolers singing holiday songs.

The carolers were members of the Stoughton High Jazz Choir, accompanied by director Griffin Coombs. Stoughton Public Schools Fine Arts Director John Kearns arranged for the visit.

The SHS Jazz Choir performed from the second floor over looking the ground floor of the library. After their performance, the library treated the SHS students with hot chocolate, marshmallows and cookies.
