Tuesday at the South School, second grade students Molly Chiang, Jonah Hochberg, Jason Levine, Amanda Paukner and Ashton Scibetta performed a skit, which showed how the American Flag has evolved throughout this nation’s history, and how even though the design has been tweaked from time to time, the colors and what the Flag symbolizes have remained the same.

Fifth graders Thomas Smith and Danny Nakhali also showed how to properly fold the Flag.

All grades, kindergarten through fifth, and even some parents, joined in a Flag Day sing-a-long to end the celebration.

Flag Day was Tuesday, June 14.
