Stoughton High Senior Jack D'Addieco was named the 2013 winner of the Mr. SHS competition, a male pageant and fundraiser for the senior class. Take a look at photos and videos from the evening in the media gallery.

Thanks to some wit and charm during the casual and formal wear portions of the competition, grace during the opening and closing dance routines, and a soulful rendition of Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up" during the talent portion, Stoughton High senior Jack D'Addieco was named the 2013 winner of the annual Mr. SHS competition.

The male pageant and fundraiser for the senior class was held last Friday night, April 5 at the Stoughton High auditorium.

D'Addieco became the eighth student to earn the title of “Mr. SHS,” since the first competition back in 2006.

Marcus Middleton and Dan Block came in second and third, respectively.

All nine contestants—D'Addieco, Middleton, Block, Phil Falkof, Nick Keith, Adam Leonard, Roberto Lima, Mike Paukner and Imani Pina came to put on a show, having no trouble keeping the audience entertained.

The competition included an open and closing dance number, causal wear, talent show, formal wear and question and answer segments. The contestants modeled tuxedos provided by Richard Lewis Formal Wear in Canton.

As usual, the talent portion of the show was the highlight of the night, with the contestants doing everything from singing, to playing musical instruments, to dancing, to beatboxing, to mixing music, to doing ballet moves with streamers in a tutu, to building sand castles, to doing standup comedy.

The eight seniors were judged in each category by a panel of six judges (Stoughton High staff Donald Baptista, Ryan Donahue, Maureen Dunderdale, Ed Hoyle, Stoughton High freshman Micah Pellegrini, who won a raffle to be the student judge, and Stoughton Patch’s Jeffrey Pickette).

Escorts included SHS students: Michelle Bisbee, Megan Crimmins, Caroline Cusack, Niamh Fennessy, Kelsie LaFerriere, Olivia Quattrucci, Ashley Powers, Kiara Serret, and Emma Zuk

Seniors Mikey Cardoso, Pat Jackman, Jalen Joseph and Sheldon Oliveira served as the quick-witted hosts.

Senior Class Advisors Kathleen Bulger and Tim Norton and the senior class officers (Fennessy, Serret, LaFerriere and Fiona Joyce) organized the show. Bisbee and Quattrucci choreographed the dance numbers.
