Family Forum on Dementia at Sinai’s Alzheimer’s Center

When a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s is given the whole family needs care and information. Learning how dementia changes the brain and behavior can make the caregiving experience easier for all involved.

New England Sinai Hospital’s Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group hosts Michelle Wyman from StilMee Alzheimer’s Coaching. She will present a Family Forum on Dementia to help you learn how best to respond to the changes in behavior that Alzheimer’s and dementia can bring. The free forum, which is open to the public, will be held at Sinai’s Alzheimer’s Center across the street from the hospital at 143 York Street in Stoughton.

Michelle Wyman has over 25 years as a social worker in elder care, most recently as a geriatric case manager at a social service agency. A strong advocate for her clients and their families, she empowers caregivers with information, emotional support and helpful strategies so they feel success and joy in their role. Michelle personally experienced the impact of Alzheimer's as both of her grandmothers were afflicted.
