Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group Talk

Deborah Ribak, LSW, Associate Director of New England Sinai Hospital’s Adult Day Health Program will talk on  Wandering and Safety.

She will discuss the reasons why people with Alzheimer’s and dementia wander, how to decrease the chances and precautions you can take in case they do anyway, including Medic Alert and LoJack safety systems. There will be time for questions and answers. This is a great way to socialize with other caregivers and take a break from caregiving.

This will take place at New England Sinai Hospital Alzheimer’s Center across the street from the hospital at 143 York Street.  Light refreshments will be provided
