Dawe School 4th Graders Hold Holiday Concert for Sinai Patients and Staff

The Dawe School 4th grade chorus walked to the New England Sinai hospital on Dec. 23 and entertained a crowd of patients and staff with holiday songs.

The fourth grade chorus from the sang holiday tunes to patients and staff at the in Stoughton last Friday afternoon, Dec. 23.

The chorus, under the direction of music teacher Elaine D’Angelo, sang holiday favorites like “Jingle Bells,” “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” and “I Have a Little Dreidel,” as well as other holiday and winter songs for the crowd gathered in the Brenner Conference Room of the Sinai.

The concert was also broadcast on the Sinai’s closed-circuit television station, so the patients who were unable to see the performance in person could still see the students sing.

The students (accompanied by their teachers and Dawe School principal David Barner) walked from the school to the Sinai (both are on Pine St.) and spent about an hour entertaining.
