With authorities currently searching the greater Boston area for the second suspect in the Boston Marathon Bombing, the Stoughton Schools are canceling activities on Friday as a precaution.

The following is from Stoughton High Principal Julie Miller: 

Due to the events taking place in the Greater Boston Area and as a precaution, we are canceling all student activities and athletics for the remainder of the day/evening [Friday, April 19].

While Friday, April 19 is the last weekday of April vacation, and school is not in session, there were high school sports practices and events scheduled for Friday, like the Student Council movie afternoon.
