Town of Stoughton Announces Hiring of New Procurement Officer

Maureen Doherty is Stoughton's new Procurement Officer, filling the vacancy left when former procurement officer Lindsay Pope left to take a procurement position with another community.

The following is a press release from the Town of Stoughton:

The Town of Stoughton recently hired Maureen Doherty of Mansfield as its Procurement Officer.

Interim Town Manager Joseph Feaster said, “We are fortunate to have attracted such a talented person as Maureen Doherty. She comes to us with a wealth of experience in purchasing, procurement, and construction and is a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO).”

Doherty comes to Stoughton from the Massachusetts Department of Corrections Where she was a Contract Specialist III.

Maureen also Worked as a construction Project Manager in the Town of Sharon.
