Amy K. Summers is scheduled to take over as the Stoughton Town Clerk, Monday, Jan. 13. Stoughton town manager Michael Hartman announced that a contract had been agreed upon at the Dec. 18 selectmen's meeting.
Human Resources director James Kelley has been serving as the interim town clerk after former town clerk Cheryl Mooney moved to Florida.
Summers will be leaving her position as the town clerk in Lynnfield to accept the position in Stoughton.
