Stoughton's Ready for Another Round of Snow

Superintendent John Batchelder is expecting to ask the finance committee for a transfer of funds for the snow budget.

With another snow storm approaching and a couple of more months on the white stuff on the horizon, the Stoughton Public Works Department is expecting to take their usual route of asking the finance committee for transfer more funds to the budget.

"This is a normal procedure, roughly the same time every year," said PWD superintendent John Batchelder.

Right now, they are getting ready today for the next snowstorm of the year.

WHDH-TV is calling for the area to get hit with 8-12 inches of snow, starting Tuesday afternoon and going until Wednesday afternoon.

"Temps crash into the upper single digits and teens by sunrise Tuesday, said WHDH-TV's Chris Lambert. "That arctic air sets the stage for an all snow event across the area.  Light snow is spotty in the mid to late afternoon hours Tuesday, before becoming steady after sunset and heavy at times overnight as a developing area of low pressure passes to our southeast.:

He is also saying the snow will be blowing and drifting as gusty win and roads will mainly snow-covered Tuesday night into early Wednesday.
