Stoughton Selectmen recently visited Miss Murphy’s 8 grade social studies class at the .
The Selectmen discussed the importance of civics and participation in local government.
Each also addressed the various concerns 8B students had for the town, including improving schools, recycling, litter, sidewalks, and playgrounds/recreational facilities, which the students had presented in their typed letters to Stoughton’s Board of Selectmen.
Ms. Walsh and Attorney O’Regan were excellent speakers whose time was greatly appreciated.
