Stoughton Patch Question of the Day: A Mayor for Stoughton?

With major issues facing Stoughton, such as the South Coast Rail, the renovation of downtown and a possible new high school, should the town consider changing its charter to go to a mayoral system?
Both Braintree (population 35,744, in 2010) and Weymouth (53,743) have gone with a mayor. Stoughton is smaller at 26,962, according to the 2010 census, but should it eliminate the Town Meeting representative form of government in favor of having a mayoral system?
