Poll Times, Locations for 2014 Stoughon Town Election

Find out where and when to vote and who's running in contested races Tuesday.

The annual Stoughton Town Election arrives Tuesday, April 8, and voters will have a say in challengers for seats on the Stoughton School Committee and the Stoughton Board of Selectmen. 

Three candidates are running for two open seats on the Stoughton Board of Selectmen: Challengers David Sousa and Joe Mokrisky are running against incumbent John M. Anzivino, currently the board's chair.

Several candidates are also running a contested race for the Stoughton School Committee, on which two seats are currently open. Incumbents George Dolinsky and Deborah Sovinee are running for re-election against challengers Randy Yanoff, Joaquin Soares, Jr. and Mari-Kate Pina-Enokian.

Stoughton Town Clerk Amy Summers said she anticipates a voter turnout of about 15 percent at this year's election.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the following locations:

  • PRECINCT 1 -- Dawe Elementary School, 131 Pine St.
  • PRECINCT 2 -- Jones School, 137 Walnut St.
  • PRECINCT 3 -- South Elementary School, 171 Ash St.
  • PRECINCT 4 -- Gibbons Elementary School, 235 Morton St.
  • PRECINCT 5 -- Gibbons Elementary School, 235 Morton St.
  • PRECINCT 6 -- Hansen Elementary School, 1800 Central St.
  • PRECINCT 7 -- West Elementary School, 1322 Central St.
  • PRECINCT 8 -- O'Donnell Middle School, 211 Cushing St.
