Officials to Host Public Forum on Stoughton Master Plan Monday Night

Residents are encouraged to participate in the planning and visioning of Stoughton's future.

Officials in Stoughton will host a public forum Monday to discuss revisions and updates to the town's Comprehensive Master Plan.

Residents are being asked to participate in an online survey as part of the town's comprehensive community planning project that officials hope to use to guide the town's growth and development. To take the survey, click here

The purpose of Monday's forum will be to go over the survey as well as to discuss Phase I of the project, which is now complete, according to stoughton.brownwalkerplanners.com, the site designed to provide updates on the project.

Officials are now moving into Phase II of the plan, which includes discussions by the consultant team of Brown Walker Planners and Howard/Stein-Hudson. The Master Plan Committee and the consultant team plan to work with residents to develop the final action plan. 

The meeting on Monday will begin at 6 p.m. at the Senior/Youth Center at 110 Rockland St. A light dinner will be offered to those who attend, and the forum will include a short presentation as well as a question-and-answer session.
