(From Norfolk County Sheriff Office)

Norfolk County Sheriff Michael G. Bellotti announced that his TRIAD program has recently published its very own Facebook page with the hope of developing a social media presence and expanding its membership.

TRIAD is a free-of-charge program that links senior citizens with public safety initiatives and other beneficial programs.

The newly launched site is the fourth NCSO program, along with the Youth Leadership Academy, “Are You OK?” and Rapid Alert Notification System (RANS), to join the world of Facebook.

Sheriff Bellotti said, “The Facebook page is a tremendous opportunity for the program and members of the community. We hope online users who visit our page will recognize the countless benefits of signing up for our safety programs.”

Facebook posts — often illustrated by photographs or video – will inform current and potential TRIAD members about meetings, community events, and program milestones. Featured programs – including the Speakers Bureau, Senior ID, LoJack/SafetyNet Files of Life and Yellow Dot – will be routinely highlighted on the page.

All Norfolk County residents and members of TRIAD are encouraged to “like” the page by visiting www.facebook.com/NCSOTRIAD. Anyone wishing to sign up or learn more about TRIAD or any community program offered by Sheriff Bellotti may call the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office at (781)751-3516.
