Former Selectman Anderson Named to Norfolk County Advisory Board's Finance Committee

John Anderson served on the Stoughton Board of Selectmen from 2009-2012 and has been Stoughton's representative on the Norfolk County Advisory Board since December of 2010. He has now been appointed to the Advisory Board's Finance Committee.

Former Stoughton Board of Selectman Vice Chairman, John Anderson, who serves as Stoughton's Representative on the Norfolk County Advisory Board, has been appointed to the Advisory Board's Finance Committee by Mr. Fred Koed, Board Chairman, of Cohasset.  

Mr. Anderson will serve with Mr. Owen Dugan (Fin. Com. Chair) of Wellesley, Mr. Carl Balduf of Plainville, Mr. Robert Purdy of Dover and Mr. Paul Connors of Randolph.

The vacancy was created in April when Mr. Frank Hegarty resigned from the Advisory Board.  

Mr. Anderson was appointed to the Norfolk County Advisory Board by a unanimous vote of the Stoughton Board of Selectman on December 22, 2010.

Stoughton is one of 28 Towns in Norfolk County. Each town has one representative on the Advisory Board.   

Mr. Anderson stated, "I am pleased and honored to be appointed by the Advisory Board Chairman to the Finance Committee and look forward to this assignment and working with the other members of the committee to meet the needs of our county and my hometown of Stoughton."
