David "Spanky" Sousa has heard what people had to say about Stoughton's annual Christmas parade being held at night.
With the positive feedback they received from moving the parade from the afternoon to the evening, the Stoughton Community Events Committee will be considering another under-the-lights parade.
"If that's what the people want," said Sousa. "We're going to have to bring more lights in to flood the square. I have to meet with the police, fire and public works department.
"I know it was cold, but I can't do anything about the weather."
One of the highlights of last year's parade was the inclusion of the military, first responders and the heroes of the Boston Marathon bombing.
"We're working on bringing them back for July 3," said Sousa, "so people can say thank you."
Selectman Cynthia Walsh said the parade brought a lot attention to the town and drew people from outside the town borders.
"Carlos (Arredondo, one of the heroes of the Boston Marathon bombing) had a bunch of groupies," said Walsh with a smile.
Selectman Bob O'Regan called the parade great for the town, especially the downtown area.
"I hope you keep it up," he said. "You (the events committee) are all deserving of our thanks."
