Check Out Stoughton Train Station's History

With the railroad and the station being talked about with South Coast Railroad, the Stoughton Historical Society has a story on the history of the train station on their website.

The article talks about the historical importance of the station and it's early beginnings, which started with much fanfare on April 7, 1845. The line was mortgaged to the Boston & Railroad in 1845 and operated through Canton Junction line to Stoughton for 10 years.
