Suspect Identified in Attempted Stoughton Dunkin' Donuts Robbery

A Fall River man has been identified as the suspect in an alleged attempted robbery of the Dunkin Donuts inside the Gulf Station on Dykeman Way in Stoughton January 17.

The man who was captured on surveillance footage attempting to rob the Dunkin Donuts inside the Gulf station on Dykeman Way in Stoughton, right near Route 24 and the Avon line, has been identified as Steven Vidinha of Fall River, according to the website MassMostWanted.com.

Warrants are being sought for his arrest, according to MassMostWanted.com.

The suspect is described as a "white male with some facial hair (unshaven) approximately 5'06" to 5'10" [tall]," MassMostWanted reports. He may have been driving a gray/silver vehicle.

After allegedly attempting to rob the Dunkin Donuts at the Gulf Station in Stoughton shortly before 5 a.m. on Jan. 17, this same suspect reportedly took off on Route 24 South where he is believed to have committed another robbery, this one at the southbound rest area on Route 24, according to MassMostWanted.

Vidinha is also wanted for alleged robberies in Fall River, Somerset, Swansea and Tiverton (RI) between Jan. 17 and Jan. 20, according to the Herald News.
